An old soul with a young heart, and a self-professed “citizen of the world,” agency president and chief strategist Meghan Patke’s love of travel, adventure, and exploring the farthest corners of the globe began at a young age, globe-trotting with her family to far-flung locales and experiencing new cultures, cuisines, and ways of thinking that have shaped her sense of self, work ethic, drive, & passion for life.
A dedicated hospitality PR marketer and skilled communicator in her field for close to 20 years, over her tenure, she has orchestrated Hello Kitty’s 35th birthday; hosted the U.S.’s first-ever Thai Food Festival at the historic Paramount Studios lot; soared to new heights with the world’s largest airline; advocated tirelessly for sustainability and piloting the successful launch of the West Coast and South Pacific’s first-ever Dock to Dish programs; and been fortunate enough to experience some of the world’s most transcendent meals with luminary chefs including Michael Cimarusti, Massimo Bottura, Adam Perry Lang, Niki Nakayama, David Myers, and Jet Tila.
Since launching Modern Currency PR in 2017, Meghan and her dynamic team of seasoned PR professionals continue to set the industry standard with fast-witted—and paced—PR & marketing campaigns, yielding high-impact (and sustained) results for a wide array of hospitality clients including distinctive hotel properties, luxury destinations & resorts, iconic lifestyle brands, renowned culinary personalities, & forward-looking travel and aviation companies, all with their eye on the prize – staying relevant and ahead of the curve.

Joining Modern Currency PR in 2019, Jordan works alongside Meghan and the team on overseeing a variety of award-winning hospitality and travel-focused clients. Her hands-on and creative approach lends itself to developing unique campaign ideas and producing top-tier results for marquee clients such as the iconic Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, Wakaya Club & Spa (Fiji), The National, Autograph Collection, and more.
Following her dreams of pursuing a career in travel and hospitality, Bailey joined the Modern Currency PR team in Spring 2022, where she brings her high level of creativity and public relations skills to support the agency’s marquee client campaigns, such as revolutionary hop-on jet service, JSX, Maui’s world-renowned Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, the island paradise of Wakaya Club & Spa, Fiji, and L.A.’s acclaimed Michelin-star restaurant, Providence.

Kim oversees Modern Currency’s Digital Media division. She has an extensive background in travel and culinary with a focus on the luxury space, having overseen successful campaigns for notable brands including Four Seasons Resort Maui, The Resort at Pelican Hill, Hotel Figueroa, Connie & Ted's, L.A.'s acclaimed two Michelin-starred restaurant, Providence, and more.
