Raised in New York and Southern California, Jordan Robinson is now a devout Angeleno. Obsessed with all things travel and culinary, she discovered her passion for the industry after road tripping across the United States with her family at an early age. The nomadic experience shaped her longing to explore the world, and eat her way through it. As an adult, she tapped into her passion and spent most of her college experience (and beyond) eating at every taco stand and restaurant she came across.

After graduating with a B.A in PR and Marketing from California State University Long Beach, she kicked off her career at venerable PR firm PMK-BNC on the Product Placement and Brand Communications team working with clients like Audi of America, Fiji Water, and Justin Wines, before quickly realizing that her heart was with the hospitality industry.

She then went on to follow her passion at various boutique agencies, where she created and executed several campaigns for chefs, restaurants, events and CPG brands. Jordan’s experience in the hospitality industry runs the gamut from chef representation to partnerships, events, and activations, including work with Chef Richard Blais of The Crack Shack and Juniper & Ivy, the Los Angeles Times The Taste and Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, Chef Sang Yoon of Father’s Office and Lukshon, Chef Zach Pollack of Alimento and Cosa Buona, Texas restaurateur Chef Tim Love, Pouring With Heart, and many more.

At Modern Currency PR since 2019, Jordan works alongside Meghan and the team on overseeing a variety of award-winning hospitality and travel-focused clients. Her hands-on and creative approach lends itself to developing unique campaign ideas and producing top-tier results for marquee clients such as the iconic Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, Wakaya Club & Spa (Fiji), The National, Autograph Collection, and more.

In her spare time, you can find Jordan with a book in hand and her cats, Meadow & Wolf in her lap (some would venture to call her a little cat-obsessed), continuing to explore every restaurant in Los Angeles, or *attempting* to cook at home.
