Bailey Athan

Account Supervisor

At a young age, Bailey had the opportunity to live in some of the nation’s most hospitality-driven cities including Orange County, Kansas City, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and San Diego before settling down in Los Angeles, where she currently resides. Living in multiple cities and experiencing different cuisines was the starting point for her journey in the hospitality industry.

After graduating with a B.A. in Journalism & Public Relations, and a minor in Business from the University of Oregon, she kicked off her career at a boutique marketing agency where she worked with brands such as Soda Stream, Doona & the City of Chula Vista, handling influencer marketing and amplifying client's presence across traditional and digital channels.

She then went on to explore a career in the entertainment industry, where she landed a position at one of the nation’s top talent public relations agencies. There, she worked closely with senior team members to effectively deliver results and contribute to high-profile clients’ strategic press campaigns across film, TV & theater, securing her clients placements in the likes of The New York Times, The Hollywood Reporter, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar and many others.

Following her dreams of pursuing a career in travel and hospitality, Bailey joined the Modern Currency PR team in Spring 2022, where she brings her high level of creativity and public relations skills to support the agency’s marquee client campaigns, such as revolutionary hop-on jet service, JSX, Maui’s world-renowned Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, the island paradise of Wakaya Club & Spa, Fiji, and L.A.’s acclaimed Michelin-star restaurant, Providence.

In her spare time, Bailey enjoys attempting the latest cooking trends on TikTok, enabling her shopping addiction with colorful shoes and handbags, and relaxing in the sun— whether at the beach or L.A.’s most vibey pools.
